Meatballs In Mushroom Sauce
These are the best meatballs I have made since starting the gluten free diet in 1995.
Ingredients
- Meatballs
- Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Ground beef,
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- ½ cup Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp dry musturd
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup Milk
- Sauce
- Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
- 1 can Progresso Mushroom soup
- ½ cup Sour Cream
Directions
- Step 1
Combine all ingredients and form into balls. Place a small amount of oil in a large frying pan and heat up. Place meat balls in pan and fry for twenty minutes turning occasionally. Drain off oil
- Step 2
Melt butter in a sauce pan and then add mushrooms. Cook for five minutes. Add soup and bring to a boil. Turn off heat and stir in sour cream. Pour over meatballs and serve.
