Marinated Flank Steak
If you like red meat (I grew up in Alaska, so I can't help it), it's hard to beat this recipe. It has a slight asian flair, so it goes well with bok choy and rice. Pair the meal with a good red wine, and I promise you'll get plenty of praise.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (Make sure it's gluten free)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons distilled vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup vegatable oil
- 1 1/2 - 2 lbs flank steak
Directions
- Step 1
To create marinade, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
- Step 2
Put marinade and meat together in a glass dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
- Step 3
Set the grill to high and allow it time to preheat.
- Step 4
Spray or brush the grill with oil
- Step 5
Sear each side of the meat for 1-2 minutes.
- Step 6
