Roast Corned Beef Brisket With Cider Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb. corned beef brisket
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tblsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons Greek seasoning
  • 2 Tblsp. GF all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water

Directions

Step 1

Trim fat from meat and place meat in roasting pan.

Step 2

Combine apple cider and next four ingredients and pour over meat in pan.

Step 3

Add bay leaves to pan and sprinkle roast with 1 teaspoon of Greek seasoning.

Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for three hours.

Step 5

Baste with pan drippings occasionally.

Step 6

Remove roast to a serving platter, reserving pan drippings. Let roast stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 7

Combine remaining one teaspoon of Greek seasoning, flour and 1 cup water in a jar.

Step 8

Cover tightly and shake vigorously.

Step 9

Bring pan drippings to a boil and add flour mixture, stirring constantly.

Step 10

Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. If too thick, add apple cider to thin.

Step 11

Remove and discard bay leaves.
