Hummus
Perfect as an appetizer served with warm pita bread, feta cheese and pitted Kalamata olives.
Ingredients
- 1 1-lb, 3-oz. can chick peas, drained
- 2 Tblsp. olive oil
- 2 Tblsp. tahini
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
- Juice of 1½ lemons
- 1 Tblsp. sesame seeds
- Salt, freshly ground pepper, and Greek seasoning to taste
Directions
- Step 1
Combine in blender or food processor and blend until creamy.
- Step 2
Chill and serve sprinkled with chopped fresh parsley.
