Hummus

Perfect as an appetizer served with warm pita bread, feta cheese and pitted Kalamata olives.

Ingredients

  • 1 1-lb, 3-oz. can chick peas, drained
  • 2 Tblsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tblsp. tahini
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
  • Juice of 1½ lemons
  • 1 Tblsp. sesame seeds
  • Salt, freshly ground pepper, and Greek seasoning to taste

Directions

Step 1

Combine in blender or food processor and blend until creamy.

Step 2

Chill and serve sprinkled with chopped fresh parsley.
