Mocha Frosting
For all the coffee addicts out there. Originally from the Celiac Sprue Association website (http://www.csaceliacs....).
Ingredients
- 1/3 c unsweetened cocoa
- 2/3 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 T cold water or brewed coffee
- 2 heaping T margarine
- 1 t instant coffee
Directions
- Step 1
Mix the cocoa, sugar, egg and water or coffee in a 1-quart saucepan.
- Step 2
Place over low heat and cook, but do NOT bring to a boil. Remove from heat when first bubbles appear.
- Step 3
Cool.
- Step 4
Add the margarine and instant coffee
- Step 5
Beat with an electric mixer until very light and fluffy.
