Microwave Brownies
What's better than gluten free brownies? Gluten free brownies that are ready in 10 minutes! This recipe is originally from the Celiac Sprue Association website (http://www.csaceliacs....).
Ingredients
- 1/2 c margarine
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 1 c sugar
- 3/4 c GF baking mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1 t GF vanilla
- 1/2 c GF cocoa
Directions
- Step 1
Microwave margarine (in a large glass bowl) on HIGH power for 45 seconds to melt.
- Step 2
Add eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Step 3
Beat until creamy.
- Step 4
Mix in dry ingredients just until blended.
- Step 5
Spread evenly into 8-inch square baking dish (make sure it is microwave safe).
- Step 6
Microwave on MEDIUM for 8 to 10 minutes until the top appears dry and springs back when lightly touched.
- Step 7
Turn dish a half turn about halfway through cooking.
- Step 8
Cool and cut into bars.
